Testimonials
Abhinetri” in Hindi means “actress”—a figure who embodies human emotion on stage, often unaware of the self. After attending the show Abhinetri, beautifully performed by gifted artists and warmly welcomed by myself and fellow HSCSJ members, I found a more personal interpretation of the word. To me, Abhi means "now," and Netri means "vision"—together evoking a presence rooted in the moment, rising above past and future into higher awareness. As the performance unfolded, we felt our physical surroundings dissolve. The artists stirred a divine joy, reigniting our connection to Indian art and its timeless emotional essence—joy and sorrow, union and separation. The live performance brought scenes from iconic Hindi films to life, transforming screen memories into heartfelt presence. On our journey back, every HSCSJ member expressed deep gratitude, echoing the profound inner resonance we all experienced that evening.
I proudly declare myself the biggest fan of Green Chilies Entertainment Group. It’s been truly inspiring to watch how Nabin Das and his passionate friends transformed their love for music—both old and new—into something innovative and exciting. Their dedication has turned Green Chilies into more than just an entertainment group; it's a platform that celebrates talent, creativity, and community. What I love most is how Green Chilies provides a stage for people to showcase their talents in front of enthusiastic audiences—fans like me! Every event leaves me amazed and uplifted, and I always look forward to the next one. Thank you, Green Chilies, for keeping the spirit of music and performance alive!
We all have dreams and talents, but turning them into something meaningful takes passion, teamwork, and relentless effort. That’s exactly what Green Chillies Entertainment represents—bringing together over 100 talented individuals to create stunning Bollywood-style productions. Thanks to Nabin Das's vision and dedication, Green Chillies has become a platform for creativity and cultural expression. I’m extremely proud to be part of it for several years as the MC at several events. I encourage everyone to support this non-profit organization through sponsorships, donations and attendance.
I’ve known Green Chillies Entertainment and its President, Nabin Das, since 2016. In 2017, I approached Nabin ji about bringing a show to West Windsor, NJ, and he graciously agreed. The result was Bhule Bisre Geet—a huge success that led to 100 Years of Bollywood in 2018, which again drew large crowds and was widely appreciated. In 2019, GCE returned with R.K. to SRK, another houseful event that left audiences thoroughly impressed. Their shows consistently feature exceptional local talent and rival the quality of Indian Filmfare Awards. The West Windsor community eagerly awaits GCE’s return for another unforgettable performance!
Last Saturday, I attended Bollywood Express, a dazzling Broadway-style show directed by Nabin Das of Green Chillies. This vibrant production blended music, dance, and visuals in a spectacular tribute to Bollywood, with songs spanning from the 1950s to 2023. Each singer was exceptional, and the stage design brought every scene to life. A big shoutout to the talented background dancers from a local school, who wowed us with styles from Kathak and Bharatanatyam to Flamenco and Belly dancing. It was a magical musical journey—well done, Green Chillies! Can’t wait for the next one!
My husband and I are enthusiastic fans of Green Chillies Entertainment (GCE) and have enjoyed every show—except one we sadly missed. GCE blends the nostalgia of Bollywood with the glamor of Broadway, creating a truly immersive experience. From stunning backdrops to exceptional local talent, each performance transports us into a magical world. We also value GCE’s dedication to showcasing tri-state artists and supporting charitable causes. We eagerly await the next musical journey, confident it will be their best yet!
